Canvas won’t load

Quick checks
  • Make sure you are connected to the correct network: staff use Faculty Wireless, and students use Student Wireless.
  • Close and reopen the Canvas tab.
  • Restart the device if you have not done so today.
Clear Canvas data
  1. Clear the site cache or browser cache for Canvas.
  2. Force quit Chrome and reopen it.
  3. Try Canvas again in Chrome.
Check the login method
  • Use the Sign in with Google option on the Canvas login page.
Still stuck?
Try a reboot, then re-test. If it still fails, capture a screenshot of the error and bring your device to the tech office.
