App says it needs permission

Find the permission
  • Read the message carefully and note which permission is being requested, such as camera, microphone, files, or location.
Allow the permission
  1. In Chrome, use the tune icon in the address bar to allow the requested permission.
  2. In macOS, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, choose the requested resource, then allow the app.
Apply the change
  1. Close and reopen the app after changing permissions.
  2. Restart your laptop if the change does not take effect right away.
Still stuck?
Try a reboot, then re-test. If it still fails, capture a screenshot of the error and bring your device to the tech office.
