Connected to Wi-Fi but no internet

Quick steps
  1. Make sure you are connected to the correct network: staff use Faculty Wireless, and students use Student Wireless.
  2. Check whether other devices on the same Wi-Fi are working.
  3. Turn Wi-Fi off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.
  4. Restart your device.
If only one site will not load
  • The issue may be a service outage, blocked cookies, or stale browser data.
  • Check Downdetector.com for global or regional outages.

To clear cookies in Chrome:

  1. Click the three dots in the top-right corner of Google Chrome.
  2. Click Delete browsing data.
  3. Click More and select All time.
  4. Click Delete data.

Note: Deleting browser data may take a while if there is a lot to remove.

Still stuck?
Try a reboot, then re-test. If it still fails, capture a screenshot of the error and bring your device to the tech office.
