Slow internet on Mac

Quick steps
  1. Move closer to an access point. These are the white boxes on the ceiling.
  2. Make sure you are connected to the correct network: staff use Faculty Wireless, and students use Student Wireless.
  3. Compare the connection with another device on the same Wi-Fi.
  4. Clear your browser cookies.
  5. Restart your laptop if you have not done so today.

Note: During peak usage, internet performance may slow down or appear inconsistent. This can be expected behavior.

Try a reboot, then re-test. If it still fails, capture a screenshot of the error and bring your device to the tech office.
